Threadless Tee: Bob-omb Inspired

Just checked out this week’s newest Threadless releases and spotted “Boom Box.” To all those who have played Super Mario Bros. (and I have to ask, who hasn’t?), you’ll recognize Bob-omb from the game. I’m not sure how I feel about the Boombox– although it makes lots of sense when you realize that the shirt in it’s entirety is nostalgic of the past.

Click the image to purchase it, or follow this link. It’ll cost you $18 and is available for both, men and women.

I’m not sure how many times I’ve shared about the goodness that is Threadless, but they’re at it again with an “all tees for $10 sale!” The Mr. and I took the liberty of choosing and sharing our top 3 choices. Hey, if you forgot to get someone a present during the holidays, and are looking for something cool yet “cheap,” this is a perfect opportunity to get just that. Check them out after the jump! Oh, by the way, you can click any of the images to be redirected to threadless.

Zombies Galore This Week!

All the things I’m about to talk about have the same thing in common, ZOMBIES! I’ll start off with the video above. Can anyone recognize what it is? It’s Call of Duty: World at War for the iPHONE!! Or Touch, depending on which product you own. Earlier in the year, CoD:WaW released a full zombie map in the game titled: Nacht der Untoten (followed by a second one who’s name I forget). The iPhone/Touch version is based off this map.

When I’d beat L4D with my team (which will soon be reunited), I was concerned that my teammates and I wouldn’t find another game to connect with as much as we did with that game– I sound kinda of pathetic don’t I? But, when CoD’s zombie maps were released, I quickly learned the gameplay and looked forward to Friday night/Saturday morning gaming sessions. According to Co-Optimus, where I read the news from earlier today, it’s even got online support, but no chatting. I’ve already got it synced on my iPhone and will be checking it out throughout the week to see how it compares. =D Keep reading for more zombie goodness!

I Be Au Sm - Threadless, Best T-shirts EverSince grade school, I’ve known I was a bit of a nerd. These days, some would call me a grammar Nazi, or some other name of the same nature. I love it! Nerd has always been a name I embraced, and now that I’m grown-up, I border on GEEK. Well, as soon as I spotted the tee above on Threadless, I knew I wanted it for myself– and that many of my friends might want it too. =D

If you want to puchase this tee, you can click on the link to your left and purchase it. It’s available for both men and women– and they have various sizes. It’ll set you back $18, but I see it as a great investment– since you get to openly share your geekdom.

Threadless 09-09-09 Sale!!

Due to it’s repetetiveness, 09-09-09 the date is causing a roucous. Threadless has just hopped on the loco bandwagon and is having a major $9 sale to celebrate all the 9’s going around. So, I thought I’d put together a list of shirts that are a collision of both worlds: the Threadless community and designer toys (and designers too)!!

Eat Shirt and Die - Threadless, Best T-shirts Ever

Andrew Bell get’s the ball rolling with his “Eat Shirt and Die”

Escape to Space - Threadless, Best T-shirts Ever

Andy Jenkins created the “Lettus Bee” skateboarder falling flat on his face figure, produced by Ningyoushi and Upper Playground. Awesome figure, I truly wish I was around for it. There’s nothing like someone smashing their face, no? =)

Good Morning Friend - Threadless, Best T-shirts Ever

Bwana Spoons. I’m not into his stuff too much, although Steven the Bat really does make me warm and fuzzy, so does the Whale. Damn it, maybe I do like his stuff. =D

Dead Pirate - Threadless, Best T-shirts Ever

McBess. I remember getting an email from ALBOTAS about this designer whose design did not get accepted by KidRobot. Kind of sucks for him because I really dig it. Only if it stayed in Black and White though, I feel color would change the look completely. His artwork is pretty cool though.

Eat Yourself - Threadless, Best T-shirts Ever

Skwak is the last artist. I don’t remember where I’ve seen the works of this French Artist, but I have… his tee is too loud for me, but it seems like he makes his own toys.

All of these shirts are up on Threadless right now, and they’re only $9! Tees for less than $10 is not something you find often. If you don’t like any of these, it’s fine, because they have a HUGE selection and various sizes too. The largest for women’s is a 2XL, and Men’s it’s a 3XL, so even heavy set people can enjoy. I myself wear a comfortable XL and I’ve always loved their quality tees– so much so, that I wear them too much and people think I don’t do laundry.

Cake is AWESOME!

bape-ghostbusters-pack-1

John just sent this info over, and I knew I had to post. I recently posted about the Ghostbusters x Bape shirt about 2 weeks ago, and when we went to the shop they were already sold out! Well, if you missed the super expensive shirt release, here’s another release for you.

Bape will not only be releasing another shirt, but two pairs of sneakers and mugs that feature their Baby Milo character alongside the infamous “Ghostbusters” iconic ghost. =) I must admit that I really want the baseball jersey– and wouldn’t mind having the regular tee, but Slimer looks just a bit odd. I don’t however, want to pay the ridiculous price tags, though I’m not entirely sure how much the items cost. I’ll settle for the mugs for my collection though.  [via.]

Oh Snaps!! It’s a Threadless Store!

Image has been stolen from Threadless email

I opened my email today to read news that Threadless© has now officially opened up their store in Chicago. YAY! If any peeps from Threadless are peeping my page now, esesaki says Congrats! Maybe you can send me a free t-shirt… you guys have my info. HAHAH! I’m kidding, sort of. Anyway… It is quite exciting to know they have a shop, their email provided the following information to why they’ve finally decided to go beyond the online universe:

Why a store? A zillion reasons. Most of them revolve around ideas we come up with for giving back to the Threadless community and not having the staff, resources, venue or time to make happen. Ideas like teaching design classes, hosting galleries with Threadless artist’s work, having real-world group critiques and other various events.

Another big reason has to do more with our product. We’ve been quite selective with which shops carry Threadless product and have even turned down some big-box retailers. Our reason for doing so is twofold. First, our product line changes every week and most retailers are not equipped to handle change that fast. Second, the story behind each of our products and who creates them, how they are created, scored and selected for print often gets lost in a traditional retail environment. Our tees lose some of their specialness and become just another tee on the shelf.

I was especially to read about their reasoning, though, did they really need a reason? Not in my book. Once again, congratulations for the store.

Another Threadless update!

That my friends, is the shirt I want to get NOW!!

Currently, I am communicating with you all from the abyss of the CCNY campus. Blah… anyway; while I wait around for professors to finish their classes and determine whether or not I can be in their class (stoopid ccny!! damn your administration!!)– I chose to post some news. Threadless is having a Back-to-School sale. Woo hoo!! What does this mean? It means all — scratch that, most, of their t-shirts are on sale for $10. Thanks to the peeps who ordered using my street team link (Santos) I can get an even better deal of $4.50 off my order. Oh snaps, the excitement of it all. [haha]

HAHA… Pac-Man poops Pellets.

<– See that? That my friends is the new Pac-Man tee shirt that Madhouse Tees is going to unleash this fall. See what it is? It’s our favorite yellow pellet eater going to the bathroom. What does a pellet eater poop? Pellets of course. I thought this shirt was quite awesome and I hope to be one of the lucky people who get to own it.

Want to know what’s the best part about this shirt? The fact that if you pre-order it from Madhouse… you don’t pay the regular price of $15 (which is already pretty low); but you get $5 off. Oh Snaps! A kick ass tee shirt for ten bucks is not too shabby. If you want to buy this shirt too, or pre-order it, you can buy it here: Madhouse Tees
