Dalek’s Lomography Box Set

Who loves lomography? I dunno.* Do you even know what lomography is? I’m going to quote a snippet from wiki to explain:

Lomography emphasizes casual, snapshot photography. Characteristics such as over-saturated colors, off-kilter exposure, blurring, “happy accidents,” and alternative film processing are often considered part of the “Lomographic Technique.”

I’ve been wanting to join in on the lomography [LOMO] movement, but I have yet to buy a camera. Well, that may all change. This weekend, I stopped by ACGears and discovered that they have a collaboration with various artists. Dalek, was the first of this batch of artists to release his own “supersampler” lomo camera. I love it. I had a friend pose with the box, which is beautifully designed, but I erased it by mistake. DOH!

The best part of the camera is that it’s green! Green is by far my favorite color. When I googled it, a pink version also came up, but I’m not a fan of pink and ACGears didn’t have that color in stock. Anyway, if you’re into lomo and love Dalek, you might want to mosey on over to the ACGears site and buy one for $60.99.

*I can’t believe I actually wrote that, but I’m keeping it that way.
