…voted today? I’m not going to preach to you about what candidate to vote for– but I expect people who complain about government to go out there and vote! The polls are open until 9pm leaving you plenty of time to chime in your own personal opinion, and if you don’t think that matters, then do it for history. Now, I’m on my way to take a photo in a booth. Shh!
Since we’re on the topic of politics, referencing previous post, I thought I would continue on the theme by giving props to some of the “big shots” in the industry. Numerous artists came together to, well, sketch for change. 21 artists were brought together by the members of Baby Tattooville to create piece to support [possibly, maybe] Presidential candidate Barack Obama. I must say, if the man gets into office, he better start making ads for the “low-brow” scene and what-not. This is truly the first time I witness a candidate’s image being used by all types of artists– all with the sincere desire to see change in our nation. (more…)
I’m going around telling the world some of the following things: 1. I’m not voting. 2. I’m voting for McCain cus he’s granpa-like and his voice lulls me to sleep. 3. I am voting for Obama because he’s Black. Umm… So, where I’m getting at with this is the following– I dunno who I’m voting for, to a certain degree it doesn’t matter because NY has been a Democratic state for as long as I can remember. But– I don’t like McCain and I don’t think I can place all my “hope” in Obama. He’s not God people, there’s a lot of fucked up shit to fix. Those are my two cents– P.S. I pretty much feel the same way about the respective VP choices. Byden frightens me a bit, but not as much as Palin? Like, seriously?! “pew-pew-pew, pew!”
In the meantime, Thunderdog Studios, has released this very short video. I have that poster hanging in my office, whether the choice be Obama or McCain, someone has to fix the economy. Right?
