Papercraft to the Max

Thursday, May 8th, 2008

You thought your papercraft projects were difficult? Imagine an entire installation of 4ft+ papercrafts. Yeah, it’s not looking that bad now is it? I thought I had a challenge on my hands when I tried to make Light (DeathNote character). All those papercraft parts were giving me a headache, but I can’t even begin to imagine the level of concentration that would go into one of these.  Core77 has the following information:

Break out the scissors n glue sticks! Paper Wars, an exhibition of paper reproductions of classic weapons, is on view at the Craze Gallery in London. Not your average cut n’ paste, this exhibition, organized by PostlerFerguson, takes their paper AK-47 kit (first published in 2007) as a point of departure and asks participants to respond by altering the object.

Got some time? Then how about you print this snes papercraft and “build” your own old school console. Oh, if you’ve got time, make two and sent it my way, I’d love to use it as a prop in my photos. Click the image to enlarge and print. Thanks to deviant art user ryo007 for creating it and sharing.
