David Choe-- Hope
A while back I posted about JR making an appearance in my neighborhood. I thought that he had direct ties to the pop-up gallery: The Outsiders, and I soon found out that such was the case. In my post I shared how impressed and mesmerized I was by the artist’s photographs. Well, I finally made my way to The Outsiders Gallery located on the corner of Houston and Bowery in lower Manhattan, NY. The group show hosts numerous well known street and graffiti artists, all brought together by LAZ, inc.
The piece I was most interested in checking out was David Choe’s Hope piece. I’ve spotted numerous Obama pieces, but I really did feel a change about the whole politics situation when I saw his first HOPE piece, hit the jump to see it. (more…)
Damn the internets and work for not allowing me to open my email sooner in the day. GamaGo went ahead and realease batch #2 of the YetiBama shirts. What’s different from last time? Not only do they cost you a mere $10, but they come packages with free button and stickers! I went on to purchase my very own shirt, only to discover women’s shirts were all sold out. Damn it!! Please, if a GamaGo personnel reads this, I am an XL (I have no shame) in your women’s tops and want this shirt. In the meantime, men’s shirts are still available so go snag yours now. It seems the next batch will not be this cheap. Lucky you!
