I thought it was a bit of a coincidence that not only does Threadless release a Super Mario Bros. themed shirt, suggesting “Magic Mushrooms,” but one of the craft sites I peruse also posted a papercraft on how to make your very own Power Up mushroom or more. =)

You can click the image to purchase the t-shirt which is currently available for $18 and to download the papercraft, head on over here. You may want to check out the site for other Nintendo related characters, papercrafts are fun, when you have the proper tools and patience of course.

It has to be made clear that from now on, all Captain Orimar/Pikmin posts are dedicated to my flickr buddy Doc18. He has changed the way I react to these creatures and thought he deserved the shout out! I am definitely going to be ordering myself a Captain Orimar and Pikmin crew from PlayAsia, and you should really do the same! They’re too cute and seeing what Doc has done to them through photos, I’m sure you can catch them in action too. You can get them for about $14.99 a piece.

ooOOOH! I believe that was my reaction when I read my theBBPS.com feeds to find a Mario World katamari. You have no idea how much I love Katamari (whichever version/system). And well, I like to believe that everyone’s experienced some form/game produced by Nintendo, if you haven’t, you need to. How cool is the above katamari? Cool enough to make it your wallpaper. Oh yeah!! Click on the image to view larger.

I’m not quite sure what Bullet Bill and the Zapper are doing together, they’re not in the same “universe” unless you had the dual game catridge that had both Super Mario Bros. and Duck Hunt [I did], but I still like the design. If you like it too, please hit the link below and vote for it. I think this website works similar to threadless, designs must recieve a number of postive votes in order for the company to produce it. We need more zapper x bullet bill related shirts printed, don’t we? Click here to VOTE now. Thanks.
p.s. I don’t know the designer, never even heard of this site. Found it on LevelSelect.

Oh noes! America is getting closer to owning my Japanese imported icy blue DS Lite. According to PVG, 3 new DS Lite colors are being released next month in Europe. They’ll apparently still cost the standard amount, according to location. I have to say, I think the green is a little too neon for me, but I’m having an instant attraction!

Okay, so technically, today was the Wii Fit launch in the states– but tomorrow Nintendo will be hosting a Wii Fit event in Central Park. Where do you think I’m going right after work? Central Park!!
The event beings at 8a.m. and will last till 5p.m. at the Merchants Gate in Central Park, which is located at the intersection of Central Park West, South, Columbus Circle and Broadway.
Is anyone else planning on going? Unfortunately none of my friends can go because of work and/or finals. If you’re in the area, message me! I’ve got a twitter [sakiwaki], tweet me and we’ll meet up! [info via.]

[Rock Band Parappa]
… when you buy two! His name is cyberhadji and he’s selling some really cool looking video game themed prints on his Etsy shop. His prints, which measure 5″x7″ are printed on vintage book pages (and I think the pages seem to connect to the image he’s creating. It could just be me making this observation though). I’ve been wanting to purchase a couple of his prints, but just didn’t know which to choose. It seems that he’s made a year on the Etsy community and has offered the following deal:
From this very moment until May 14th my prints (with the exception of those included in the 3 print sets) are buy 2 get 1 free! The free print must of equal or lesser value than the lowest price of the two prints.
OR
Buy any 3 print set and get one print free!
I think its time for me to start making those purchases I’ve been meaning to make. Hit the jump for more images. And head on over to his shop to make some purchases of your own. His range of characters is amazing. [Etsy]

NWFB reported on this kick-ass NES Zapper lamp that crafter fluffypants created . If only I had the imagination to do such things. Actually, I’ve been wanting to do a couple of video game things, but my obsession to keep buying more vinyls prevents me from doing so. I can assure you that you’ll be as impressed as I was when I spotted the lamp above. Clearly, in case the 3D lamp shade wasn’t a dead giveaway, it’s a Duck Hunt inspired working lamp! Got some time? Then how about you print this snes papercraft and “build” your own old school console. Oh, if you’ve got time, make two and sent it my way, I’d love to use it as a prop in my photos. Click the image to enlarge and print. Thanks to deviant art user ryo007 for creating it and sharing.

A very long time ago I posted some Space Invaders wall decals released by Blik. They were/are awesome. Well, today I found what looked like more wall decals, and instead ended up being something we could all try our very best to do at home. Artist, who I have assumed is “Pyron” has created some great Mario World and Pacman characters using cardboard. He/She [??] cuts the board to display the inner layer, and then paints the necessary areas. Click the thumbnails to enlarge.

So, who’s up for arts-and-crafts? I’m sure we can all try this at home and possibly step it up a notch. Visit Jangan Tension’s blog to see more images and works.
