Now that we’ve kick started the holiday giveaways, and have announced our first winner… let’s move on to our second giveaway! We want to thank Dragatomi for their very generous donation of their exclusive (seriously limited to 100 pieces!) Spiki Game Of Death created by Nakanari. I’ve had the pleasure of not only having met the two wonderful people who own and run Dragatomi, but I’ve also met Nakanari during his solo show at MyPlasticHeart.
This exclusive figure retails for $75.00!! This is your chance to get it for free!!! The figure is made out of vinyl, and measures about 8″ in height. I don’t have an image of it’s packaging, but I remember being highly impressed with it’s packaging, and it comes with an additional 2 Shuriken and a sword. I believe he has several points of articulation, and you can remove several items including his scarf. Hit the jump to get details on the giveaway!

It’s been almost 2 years since Nakanari had his show at MPH, and it seems that he’s returned to the city for a second dosage of ninjas and warriors. Nakanari will be hosted by ToyQube this Friday, for his Duel or Die show. He’s released a couple of sneak peeks, which sadly I’ve neglected to share, but no worries!! The Mr. and I will be attending the show to not only show our support, but also share pics and a video re-cap later. Hit the jump to see the back side of the flyer… do you recognize someone on the bottom of the flyer? (I have experienced uber excitement with that detail. >_<).

KidRobot NY is my second favorite designer toy shop in my area. MPH is the proud owner of the #1 spot in my heart, can’t help it, I’m a total fangirl. KidRobot- though I love their deco style- is a little too mainstream for me. Due to my latest experience at their Greene St. location, I’ve held some resentment towards the mean employee there, therefore, it’s still a fresh wound. With all this aside though, KidRobot happens to be responsible for introducing me to the world of designer toys through their dunnys, so whether I like it or not, they’ve always played an important role for me in this scene.*

As I had previously updated, Friday was Nakanari and Dave “Outta My Mind” Quiles’ Techno Babble show at MPH. Though I didn’t arrive early, since I had to go to a meeting, I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived to a steady flow of visitors coming in and out of the shop.
