Mr. Clement Delivers a New Lapin?

I spotted this post on VinylPulse a couple of days ago, and since have been obsessing a little about the newest addition to the Mr. Lapin family. I was lucky enough to score an all black one two years ago from the lovely Colette (1st lady of Tomopop) and later that same year scraped up the cash for the Marie Paysant-Le Roux edition.

Delivery!

Anyway, ever since then, I admit, I’ve been rather hooked on these sophisticated rabbits. They carry themselves so well, I can’t really refer to them as bunnies. As soon as I spotted the sneak peek, I knew the newest addition would be flocked, you can see the texture in the photo. I can’t wait to see what the expression on the front looks like. By the way, Mr. Lapin is photographed in his many forms quite often. I took the liberty of sharing some of my favorite photos after the jump.

An Additional Petit Lapin?!

Clearly, I can’t separate myself from the computer as news of Mr. Clement and Marie Paysant-le Roux’ collaboration hit all the blogs instintaneously. Maybe it just seems that way because I’ve finally made my way back home to update. =( Anyway… I will admit that I was totally lusting over both Mr. Clement and Petit Lapin for a long time, and my dream of owning at least one of these figures didn’t come true until a great gal [Colette] gifted me one. The image above was one of the images I took of him the weekend he arrived. My smile grew wider when I learned that it was just any Petit Lapin, but a limited to 100 pieces, Petit Lapin. [Thank you so much again woman!]

Now Mr. Clement has joined forces with an artist I don’t know too much about, Marie Paysant-le Roux. They will be releasing a Petit Lapin, also limited to 100, and I’m more than curious to see what they’re design entails. I do have to say this; after having been to the Paysant’s site, I am pleased with her soft color palettes. The simplicity, yet intricacy of her projects seem like she and Mr. Clement will bring forth something great. More updates when they’re available.

[Source] p.s. Please don’t steal my image… I took that picture, not you! Ask, and I shall permit.
