Since I’ve posted about the Coraline dunks, I might as well follow up with these custom dunks I spotted over at NikeSkateBoarding.org. I own nothing of Luke Chueh’s because I hadn’t heard of him before the prices on his originals sky-rocketted, but the man makes some amazing pieces. I am in love with his style and the emoness that is exuded in his art. His “Possessed” figure is something I lust after and I’d settle for a print, as long as I have something of his to put up on my walls.

This is a couple days old, by I know when it comes to Luke Chueh, it doesn’t matter. I’ve shared countless times about my love for Luke Chueh’s art style and my desire to own some of his works and if it weren’t the holiday season I would go after the print above.

Honey Bear, with Luke’s most recognized character the white bear, has just been released by Gallery1988 in a limited run of 200 pieces of archival paper. Each print measures 16″ by 20″ and costs $150. I’m not sure how many prints are left, but since it is the time we splurge the most for the people we care about or even ourselves, I thought someone would take advantage of the opportunity. Head on over to G1988 to get your own.

I’ve been a fan of Luke Chueh since my first encounter with the Possessed figure. I love his mecha bear– let’s not lie, I love all of his pieces thus far and he is one of many artists who I wish I’d known before they “blew up” so I could’ve gotten my hands on his art for cheaps. =(

Well, this might be an opportunity for me to finally own one of his pieces. FullyVisual is releasing Luke’s ShitHead this Tuesday at 2pm EST. How much, I’m guessing it’ll be somewhere between $120-$130, their ballpark cost. As usual, there will be 99 pieces in circulation and 1 gold one. I wants, but I don’t think I can get it just yet. Damn it! To get one, head on over to FullyVisual tomorrow.

p.s. There’ll be a lot more posts (both new and OLD news– trying to catch up with life).

[BTW, print can be purchased on Kanye's site for $10]

I should start by directing you to Kanye West’s blog. Why so? Because, Kanye’s latest album launched a collaboration between Kanye and Murakami. If you haven’t peeped the latest video by the two- head on over to the Mr.’s blog. That video is amazing and I am seriously overwhelmed with joy to witness such a collaboration.

Anyway– it seems that Fall Out Boy has jumped on the band wagon and has collaborated with Luke Chueh for their upcoming album.  You can hit the jump to check it out. I love it!! I am a huge fan of Luke Chueh and he’s one of many artists that I wish I knew about sooner– someday, I shall own something from Luke– for now, I might consider buying Fall Out Boy’s album just for his art. Is that mean?
