fvminimadls

MAD has officially released more information on that sneak peek I’d posted about a few days ago. What I thought would be the mini madl artist’s series, is actually a collaboration between FullyVisual and himself.

Although no artist series or mini madl vinyls make me a bit sad, I really am looking to the very limited release of these characters. I’d actually like to get a nickle or copper madl to add to my collection. What do you guys think?

modern-hero

Last week I spotted the following tweet from MAD:

twitter

As soon as I spotted the post, I began to rack my brain about what figure the two agreed to turn into a metal sculpture. It seems “Modern Hero” takes the cake. The figure, like previous FullyVisual releases will be a run of 100 pieces, 99 silver and 1 gold. They will cost $99 each and I believe it’d be an amazing addition for any MAD fan. I have to say, so far, I’ve loved all of the artists that FV has worked with, including the characters they’ve chosen to turn into metallic forms. If you want to get yours, they’ll be on sale tomorrow at 3pm EST time. Check out fullyvisual.com to get your own.

I’ve been a fan of Luke Chueh since my first encounter with the Possessed figure. I love his mecha bear– let’s not lie, I love all of his pieces thus far and he is one of many artists who I wish I’d known before they “blew up” so I could’ve gotten my hands on his art for cheaps. =(

Well, this might be an opportunity for me to finally own one of his pieces. FullyVisual is releasing Luke’s ShitHead this Tuesday at 2pm EST. How much, I’m guessing it’ll be somewhere between $120-$130, their ballpark cost. As usual, there will be 99 pieces in circulation and 1 gold one. I wants, but I don’t think I can get it just yet. Damn it! To get one, head on over to FullyVisual tomorrow.

p.s. There’ll be a lot more posts (both new and OLD news– trying to catch up with life).

That title sounds really gross and dirty, doesn’t it? I hope not because I don’t think Gary Baseman’s figure is gross and dirty at all! FullyVisual has dropped me a line of their upcoming Gary Baseman figure “Creamy” in their ever so lovely solid silver (and singularly exclusive gold). It’ll go on sale on Tuesday (8/19/08) at 2pm EST (11am PST). Get your wallets ready to drop $130– and if you want, you can totally send me one.

I say, if you’ve got $130 laying around, head over to theartliberation and pick one up tomorrow at 11am PST [2pm EST].
