I officially have to call it quits after this post (I’m making up for my lack of attendance this week). It’s almost 5am, I think I have “worked” enough for the night/day. Anyway– I didn’t want to go to sleep without sharing what I stumbled upon on /Film.
An Australian artist (who is clearly talented and creative) decided to fool around with what he thought some of the upcoming villains in Nolan’s The Dark Knight universe should look like. I think that sentence sounds odd. He picked villains/sidekicks/other personalities– and did his own take on how they might look in Nolan’s The Dark Knight universe– better. Anyway, I think the man does a great job, but even more kudos to him because whether he did it intentionally or not– I am seriously favoring Kristen Bell (My LOVER) as the upcoming Harley Quinn. What do you think? Hit the jump to see more works from Josh and be sure to visit his DeviantArt for much more.

In anticipation for this summer’s blockbuster, The Dark Knight, New Era is releasing Dark Knight fitted caps. We’ve seen a couple fitted caps before, and they’ve been way to loud for my taste. This set of caps being released exclusively for the release of The Dark Knight, has actually perked my interest. The colors are very simple, black and gray with a hint of gold for the devilish smile owned by the joker. On the back read the words, “Let’s put a smile on that face.” a line taken directly from the movie. This cap is available through phone order at: Hall of Fame. Hit the jump to see the back of the Joker’s fitted along with some of the other upcoming caps. Good Job New Era!
Uh… So I’m not sure that its in my right to write this post, or share the following news better said. My news come from the land of comics/graphic novel; Watchmen to be more specific. I own this graphic novel and have yet to finish it, along with a number of other comics at home. I did however want to share about the upcoming movie. Its over a year a way, but still wanted to let you know it was in the works and I look forward to both finishing the book and watching how the movie comes out:

Don’t know what Watchmen is about, check what Wiki had:
Watchmen is set in 1985, in an alternative history United States where costumed adventurers are real and the country is edging closer to a nuclear war with the Soviet Union (the Doomsday Clock is at five minutes to midnight).

I was kidding with the title, but you can’t blame me for it… doesn’t it seem as though if you just placed a mic where Batman is holding his cape, that he’d be singing? Come on, admit it. That would be so awesome and totally not the average Batman behavior. Anyway, this statue is set to be released January 2008 (slightly before my birthday if anyone wants to buy it), and just in time for the release of “The Dark Knight” (the working title for the sequel), which is July 18th, 2007. Woo hoo! I’ll keep you updated when it’s available for purchase, but you should know that the price is set at $65.
