The fine folks at CrazyLabel– sponsors of our Snow Treeson giveaway– have topped themselves even more by announcing their New Year’s Day one day only sale. Although I’m not too sure about the promotional discount, I have to point out that CrazyLabel already offers affordable prices on their figures for amazing quality control. The sale will begin tomorrow at 12:00am GMT+8, which I believe is at noon December 31st (or 9am on the West Coast)! I suck at GMT, isn’t that embarrassing. Correct me if I’m wrong, and teach me something new. Happy Shopping!

Our 4th Holiday Giveaway is sponsored by CrazyLabel. I’ve been a fan of CrazyLabel for quite some time now– I’ve constantly raved about Andy Woo’s eye for simple designs with plenty of charm. Treeson is the prime example of what I refer to when I say simple. Sometimes, designers get caught up with adding more; more color, more accessories, more packaging. Grr! Sometimes, less really is more. Bubi Au Yeung, creator of Treeson continually delivers joy to my life every time a new treeson is released– and since CrazyLabel introduced the mini treesons, they’re even moreĀ irresistible.

Can I just put it out there? Bubi, you’re simply amazing. You’ve come up with a “simple” design, that’s simply wonderful and too cute to EVER ignore. A few weeks ago, CrazyLabel released news of the upcoming release of Snow Treeson, exclusively for DesignerCon. Well, DesignerCon is over and now CrazyLabel has posted the remaining 300 pieces in their shop. It stands at a stumpy 3″ and will cost you $13.95. I know times are tough, but I truly can’t ignore the call of a baby treeson so hopefully I’ll be getting one in the mail soon enough, I just need to pay my friends back for it. =D If you’d like to purchase him, head on over here: Crazylabel.

WOOHOO!! I was looking through my goodie bag yesterday and realized that I haven’t taken my baby treesons out to play in a very long time. Then, I happened upon Andy Woo’s flickr who produces Bubi Au Yeung’s Treesons, and was surprised to find the future blind box set based on her latest book release.

It’s official… I must get a full look of Andy’s (x2) sneak peeks of the upcoming Treeson. I have gathered this much… he’ll stand at about 7″ [?] tall and have 5 points of articulation. Check out the images to confirm. He, or she?, is able to sit down… I can’t wait to see what they’re releasing. I want. Both Andy’s if you’re reading this, you better save a treeson for me!!

I’m experiencing an unstoppable smile syndrome right now. I spotted a sneak peek on TRE’s blog this weekend, but after further inspection on Andy Woo’s flickr, I believe Treeson will now have hands?!! He had hands before, but these seem to now have articulation!! It seems the branch on this upcoming CrazyLabel surprise also has a specialty heart? I need answers, this request applies to both Andys!!

First was the announcement of the Shaolin Monks, now Veggiesomething x CrazyLabel has announced the upcoming release of Di-Di and Mei-Mei, in shrunken form! They’ll stand 3″ tall and they will look cuter than they ever did. There’s a change though, because the figures above are exclusive to the Taipei Toy Festival. What’s the difference? The Tapei exclusives have orange accents instead of red and the characters are in a different language. When I asked Andy if they’d be available in the states, he said:
The classic edition featuring red accents will be available worldwide starting July. However, for the TTF exclusive in orange accents, there are 50 sets available in Taipei Toy Festival only.
Oh noes!! Well, I’m not completely heartbroken, as I’ll still be able to get the red accent minis. Yay!! Thanks for the heads up Andy, and once more, I love your production pieces soooOOOo much!

Last night Andy Woo set free images of their upcoming Shoalin Monks. There will be two monks released onto the world. The Student (orange) and Disciple (gray). There will be 700 students released and only 100 disciples, which so happens to be the figure I want. What are the odds huh? I hope I am able to get him.
