There are a couple times during the year where I actually feel envious of the West Coast– SDCC and anything that takes place at G1988 (either one of them), are great examples of this envy. Well, Crazy4Cult is one of those shows that really rubs it in my face and makes me an angry New Yorker– kidding, there are many things that make me a moody New Yorker.
Anyway, I’ve had the flyer sitting on my desktop for a while, but Jensen (I feel like we’re on a first name basis, but then I remember he signs off on all the blog posts) recently posted an exclusive print for this year’s Crazy4Cult show.
The print, created by Jim Horwat, pays homage to ‘Back to the Future’! I just took a look at the list of participating artists and man do I feel the burn. The show’s going to take place on July 16th at G1988 LA. Who plans on attending? I want pictures please!

Who hear does not like Office Space? Oh– is that right? Leave. Alright, for those of you who LOVE Office Space like myself, can you imagine my reaction when I spotted this plushie? He is spot on and even the red stapler rules ALL. Apparently he was created by an uber-cool gal named Jen Rarey– who apparently makes other great plushies. I so want to hug him and then steal his red stapler.

A while back I’d spotted the poster you see above. I went all ga-ga over it because I’m a total movie addict and love to figure out where characters are from, etc. Later I learned that it was a piece [promotional poster] for an upcoming show titled: Crazy4Cult. I’m sure many of you have heard about this show– but I need to express my distraught for not living in LA. I want to attend this amazing compillation of art [and artists] so badly.
This want became increasingly painful when some of my favorite artists were uploading sneak peeks of their contributions (Kathie Olivas and Camilla d’Errico being among the top stuff I want). I am discovering that I want a good percentage of the pieces that will be on display for the public tomorrow. Hit the jump for some of my favs, SOME.
