A very long time ago, I posted a video from kidrobot in which they promoted their Munny. Now, they’ve released a second video and I love it just as much as the first one. If you missed Kidrobot’s first video, click this link to watch it.
I LOVE kids. And a toddler speaking French with a strange, but vivid imagination is the best thing I’ve seen in a long time. I can’t stop watching the wide eyed girl. I love how she says “crocodile” and “giraffe!” I just want to keep her for myself. ^___^
On October 16th, I was able to squeeze out of a work meeting to attend Gallery Hanahou’s Spread the Lead opening in lower Manhattan. I’m a fan of this gallery, though this is officially the second show I attend there (the first being Superdeux’s solo show). It is located inside the Cable Building, which has been around since 1892– suddenly, this has turned into an architectural history lesson. Anyway, before reaching the actual gallery, you have to walk through this pathway with high ceilings and huge windows on either sides, I love walking through it, click here to see a photo. (more…)
I’m going around telling the world some of the following things: 1. I’m not voting. 2. I’m voting for McCain cus he’s granpa-like and his voice lulls me to sleep. 3. I am voting for Obama because he’s Black. Umm… So, where I’m getting at with this is the following– I dunno who I’m voting for, to a certain degree it doesn’t matter because NY has been a Democratic state for as long as I can remember. But– I don’t like McCain and I don’t think I can place all my “hope” in Obama. He’s not God people, there’s a lot of fucked up shit to fix. Those are my two cents– P.S. I pretty much feel the same way about the respective VP choices. Byden frightens me a bit, but not as much as Palin? Like, seriously?! “pew-pew-pew, pew!”
In the meantime, Thunderdog Studios, has released this very short video. I have that poster hanging in my office, whether the choice be Obama or McCain, someone has to fix the economy. Right?
Now, I don’t often post things from youtube– my apologies to anyone I might offend, but I’m not a fan of losing brain cells to youtube. I myself admit to watching trash tv, but it’s not as bad as some of the shit I find on youtube. I do however, sometimes, find myself to be entertained, and the video above is a display of one of the few times I’m pleased. =)
I swear, Woody became just a little more creepy. I thought the voice overs were perfectly timed and well executed. What’d you think?
I officially have to call it quits after this post (I’m making up for my lack of attendance this week). It’s almost 5am, I think I have “worked” enough for the night/day. Anyway– I didn’t want to go to sleep without sharing what I stumbled upon on /Film.
An Australian artist (who is clearly talented and creative) decided to fool around with what he thought some of the upcoming villains in Nolan’s The Dark Knight universe should look like. I think that sentence sounds odd. He picked villains/sidekicks/other personalities– and did his own take on how they might look in Nolan’s The Dark Knight universe– better. Anyway, I think the man does a great job, but even more kudos to him because whether he did it intentionally or not– I am seriously favoring Kristen Bell (My LOVER) as the upcoming Harley Quinn. What do you think? Hit the jump to see more works from Josh and be sure to visit his DeviantArt for much more. (more…)
Okay, so I’ll need to shrink my head a lot in order to fit into this hat (or I could just make the dimensions of the pattern larger), but I want a talented knitter to please make me this hat. I’d wear it during whatever Cons I attend, and for a second there I almost want to suggest wearing it during the most inappropriate times. I feel like I should be sitting in a parent meeting with my students with this hat on, no? If you know how to knit, I suggest you visit Itchy Stichy’s blog for instructions. Share photos if you make it please.
Turns out, this isn’t the first super awesome and on-point Katamary Demacy hat pattern that’s been shared. Someone’s shared their actual katamari hat, and pink and bumpy. I wants it too!! Hit the jump for an image and link.
Who hear does not like Office Space? Oh– is that right? Leave. Alright, for those of you who LOVE Office Space like myself, can you imagine my reaction when I spotted this plushie? He is spot on and even the red stapler rules ALL. Apparently he was created by an uber-cool gal named Jen Rarey– who apparently makes other great plushies. I so want to hug him and then steal his red stapler.
