Rolito Goes Zune

Wednesday, October 1st, 2008

I’ve posted about Zune Originals before, and now Mr. Rolito has announced that he has joined the ranks of Meomi, Sam Flores and many others by creating his very own addition to the Zune Originals site. I am planning on buying my mother a Zune this Christmas and I think I may just need to get his art etched on the background– okay, maybe I’ll trick her into trading with me. I don’t know– the Mr. got me mine, but this second gen Zune is quite petite and lovely. You can hit the jump for more images and details. (more…)

I really love me some robots!

Thursday, June 7th, 2007

I really love robots. I’m not sure what that says about me or my personality but they’re just so cute. My favorite threadless t-shirt is “She Doesn’t Even Realize”, which has a sad little robot with a heart. Oh gosh… anyway I just entered keyword: robot; at etsy.com and this pendant was one of the results. I want it. Someone should buy it for me, please? It costs $8.00 if anyone is interested. Click on the image to check out the site and purchase one for yourself.

Mine… get your own brain!

Friday, June 1st, 2007

This is for all the zombie fans out there. Its 8am and you want your cereal… or do you want BRAINS!! I was over at etsy.com today and I was checking out all the cool things that people create. These are some kick ass bowls, not your typical kitchenware, but still awesome!!  I like the additional touch of pink inside the bowl, it makes it even more authentic. If you want to purchase them, you can do so over here. They’re $18 each.

Legos, Legi, no it’s LEGO!

Thursday, May 31st, 2007

If you’re a “trash TV” watcher like myself, this means you watch channels like VH1 and MTV; then you probably saw the Super Bowl of Pop Culture last summer. I really liked that show, even if it was on trash tv. The best part was having Pat Kiernan (from NY1) talk about the plural form of Lego, its still Lego not Legi or Legos. Anyway, that explains the title.

Now back to the post, I am a fan of LEGO especially lately; I’ve recently discovered the LEGO Shop; and an even bigger fan of USB drives. While on my internet escapade, I ran into these:

Not only are they USB flash drives, but they’re also really small and you can attach them to your keys. I love them. I’d get the red one, or the green. They’re a little costly, $49 to be exact plus shipping… but still awesome! You can check ‘em out here: ZipZip.net

Super Mario Cake.

Wednesday, May 30th, 2007

It’s a coincidence that its another cake post, but damn it… cakes are so good! I don’t know how yummy Mario is, but he sure does look delicious. I was over at Joystiq.com today and I saw this Mario cake. People are so incredibly talented. I am an addict for those Food Network shows with the cake competitions, I forget the names of the shows. Whenever they’re on though, I can’t help but be stunned.

You can click the image to go to Joystiq’s photo gallery of the cake. I should share that I wouldn’t eat him though, I’d store him forever in glass. Maybe.

Plan C

Tuesday, May 29th, 2007

I recently got the Helio Ocean, so naturally I’m going to be on a Helio high. I’m not sure if you’ve seen the ads around the city (if you live in the city). The one I am referring to is the “Plan A, Plan B” ad. Plan A being the dial pad mode, and plan B is the keyboard mode. I’ve found Plan C, eat it!
