Just in (more like on Friday), kANO dropped a picture of his custom Yoka for the travelling Yoka Show, 1st stop being Designer Con which just took place in Pasadena, California. Sadly, kANO couldn’t submit the yoka in time to make it to Pasadena, but you can definitely see it on the next tour location.

When I asked kANO about the piece, he shared the following: I wanted to keep the figure real simple and clean, so I focused on a clear concept, with a minimal color palette. I thought it would be cool to take something sickly cute like Winnie the Pooh and change some of his traits to make it my own.

Well, I can safely say that Kano has managed to make Winnie the Pooh, a beloved honey loving bear, into a bad-ass bear with a mean streak. Great job kaNO, can’t wait to maybe see it in person? I should check if the Yoka’s are headed to NY and if so, when.
