Shows: Addicted to Details

It’s quite a pleasure to be included in a press email, and I have to say that I’m glad that I was included for this show– the works seem to be impecible. I am quite delighted to share news of Intoxicated Demon’s Addicted to Details show taking place in Berlin. Hit the jump for more info.

So, what is expected from this show? Apparently, Intoxicated Demons will display the works of 4 graffiti artists. I needed to know more details about the works, since unfortunately– I don’t know anything about the artists (Biser, Hombre, Dome and Aro). So, a friendly person over at ID answered my questions.

It turns out these aren’t just “customs,” take a look at what Marco had to say:

- Handmade
- Hardened Gypsum, synthetic resin, styrodur
- alongside diverse materials (headphones, glasses, textiles etc) [This makes me happy!]
- size around 30 – 40 cm [12in-16in for us American (jeesh!)]

In regards to price and sales, for those who are interested overseas, they’ll each cost anywhere between 800-1000 eu. And they’ll definitely ship, but clearly this is going to cost you a pretty penny since they need to be handled with much delicacy. If only I had monies to go to Berlin… I’d go to inspect the details (I too am addicted to details). Check out their press release about the show, it has a very nice write up. The show will see the light of day next Friday– the same day Julie West will have her show in NYC, US.
