It should be noted that as of lately, baking video game themed cakes, cookies and cupcakes, has become the latest trend. It always was to a certain degree, but I like to blame “hello naomi” and her delectible goodies for making it popular once more. Anyway, I spotted SeattleJonman’s Space Invader cookies and I had to share. What makes this different from all other cookies/cakes/cupcake posts? He takes a step-by-step photo of the process and even tells you about his ‘secret’ tool. Really, it has to do with the fact that [I think] he planned out his pixelated goodness on an excel spreadsheet… and excel is always fascinating. Check out his flickr for the step-by-step process of how to make these cookies, and I’ll let you know whether I was able to achieve making them too. Hey, are you a baker?
