I’m on a total Dacosta high! This man really hits the spot for me. I’ve been on a total AstroBoy craze, spot the iGoogle post, and then he creates this little guy. I love it. And, I especially love that all of his designs always look so clean. Oh Dacosta, I believe this is a success!

Rating: ★★★★★★★★★★

Someone, please stop me! I’ve officially seen Wall-E 3 times this weekend. I had to go to the midnight showing on Thursday, then with friends on Friday and with family today [Saturday]. I’m looking for any excuse to watch it again. I LOVE it. In exception to Cars and maybe Ratatouille, I’m a HUGE fan of Pixar movies, and this was really one of their best.

It seems someone at Pixar got the memo that I love robots and chose to make a movie just for me! Okay, fine, maybe not just for me– but we’ll keep that between us. I am completely satisfied with this film, and I really wish everyone would watch it. I did have some more thoughts, I suggest you watch the movie and then read– I’m not very good about keeping things spoiler free. [Photo taken by: Revlimit]

Word on the street (the GamaGo blog) is that GamaGo is going to have a GIANT Kill! Deathbot available for sale during SDCC. I own the original 5″ [?] Deathbot and I think he’s okay. My need to own him really had to do with him being a robot and made out of wood, and though the larger one is pretty much the exact same thing– I am quite shocked at how much more I LOVE it. I think it has something to do with how large it is. And, it’s also made out of wood which makes it more substantial and impressive. I have no details on cost, but they will be limited to 100 pieces and that they’ll be shipped for free in the US.

Some Joss Whedon to tide you over…

As you all know, Saki and I are big Joss Whedon fans. If you are like us, then you just can’t wait till Dollhouse hits the air this fall. It seems like we will not have to wait that long for our next Joss hit. He is directing a series for the web called “Doctor Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog”. It stars a few people from the Joss universe (Nathan Fillion and Felicia Day). It also stars Neil Patrick Harris as the lead character: Dr. Horrible.

I’m not really sure what the show is about other than it being a musical- of course with a name like that, how could it be anything else? I believe it hits sometime this summer. You can get more info over at the “Doctor Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog” blog. While you’re at it, check out Felicia Day’s web series “The Guild”. It’s a good time. You can check out a trailer after the jump.

It’s official… I must get a full look of Andy’s (x2) sneak peeks of the upcoming Treeson. I have gathered this much… he’ll stand at about 7″ [?] tall and have 5 points of articulation. Check out the images to confirm. He, or she?, is able to sit down… I can’t wait to see what they’re releasing. I want. Both Andy’s if you’re reading this, you better save a treeson for me!!

“Let’s Put a Smile on That Face” Joker Fitted

In anticipation for this summer’s blockbuster, The Dark Knight, New Era is releasing Dark Knight fitted caps. We’ve seen a couple fitted caps before, and they’ve been way to loud for my taste. This set of caps being released exclusively for the release of The Dark Knight, has actually perked my interest. The colors are very simple, black and gray with a hint of gold for the devilish smile owned by the joker. On the back read the words, “Let’s put a smile on that face.” a line taken directly from the movie. This cap is available through phone order at: Hall of Fame. Hit the jump to see the back of the Joker’s fitted along with some of the other upcoming caps. Good Job New Era!

The Vivisect blindboxes have been available for a while and to be quite honest, I really love them. The artists that were chosen for this series, and the designs they produced were really different from other blind box series already released. These, to me, seemed much more grown up. Well, their original price was $8.95, which wasn’t a horrible price at all- but if you live in the US, you can now get your blindbox Vivesect figures for $5.00 a pop at UrbanOutfitters. They’ll clearly still be blindboxed, but you’ll save yourself a couple of bucks on your mission of getting all the designs.

*I’m starting a “project,” concerning my titles that is- they’ll probably be longer, but hopefully more specific.

[Click images for larger view, Danke!]

I’m probably a little late at writing this, and people may already know about it, but I still wanted to share. I don’t think Google is a boring place. In fact, it provides me with all my stalking research needs. ^___^ But, I am a huge fan of making things my “own,” I’m selfish like that. I was curious and clicked a tab to something called iGoogle. It’s pretty much your own Google. It’s all the awesomeness that Google already is and then some. Basically, you give your regular Google home screen an uplift.

Above is a screen shot of some of the “artist” themes that are available. After the jump, you can see some screenshots of the theme I’ve chosen to take over my screen.
