*Stop! Spoilers Included, you have been warned*

Last night, I met up with friends to watch Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, the following are some of my after thoughts. Before seeing the movie, I refused to let my opinion be tainted by reading any reviews or spoilers. Last Sunday, I prepped for the newest addition to the trilogy by watching the first 3 films. Nonetheless, I have established that I was quite excited for the release. I wish the same enthusiasm applied after watching the film. (more…)

Boo. Pacman Lights to the Rescue

Saturday, May 24th, 2008

If you’re a gamer with a fear of the night, then I believe I’ve found the solution to your problems. Actually, you don’t even have to be a gamer, these lamps are simply awesome! They’re a homage to the classic arcade game, Pac-Man, just in case you didn’t recognize the iconic shapes. Though slightly off with the yellow and white, I so want these now!! No information on whether they’ll be up for grabs.

Fat Cap Series 2!

Friday, May 23rd, 2008

I’ve been aware of their upcoming release for a while, but I was waiting for more images of what to expect. Mr. Shane Jessup had released some sneek peaks, but it still wasn’t enough. I do have to admit though, that I’m super excited for PON! for making it into the production design. He’s cool and very chill. Anyway… Sket has updated his myspace blog with his design (which by the way happens to be a chase). I think I need this chase simply because I’m a New Yorker.

New Additions

Friday, May 23rd, 2008

Oh noes! America is getting closer to owning my Japanese imported icy blue DS Lite. According to PVG, 3 new DS Lite colors are being released next month in Europe. They’ll apparently still cost the standard amount, according to location. I have to say, I think the green is a little too neon for me, but I’m having an instant attraction!

“Tell me what you want.” Phone Sex

Friday, May 23rd, 2008

Swissmiss is the awesomeness, and if you don’t have her on your rss feeds, you really should. She brings awesome things to my attention. Most recently, I’ve been hooked by this photography project which goes behind the scenes of Phone Sex Operators and uncovers what’s, or who’s behind the voice. Check out phonesexthebook for more deets.

Giant Deliciousness!

Friday, May 23rd, 2008

I heart lots of sweet stuff, especially ice cream! Too much delight came to my face when I spotted this giant ice cream lamp over at ShinyShiny. I must have it in my life and for only $48 you can own it too, check Fred Flare for more details.

p.s. Unfortunately, there is something wrong with my motherboard. After going for a “second opinion” the same diagnostic has been confirmed. I’m afraid that a break is inevitable. I will still have access, posts are just going to be a lot slower. =( 5 weeks without constant internet access is a nightmare.

Brent Nolasco’s Broken Hearts & Stolen Souls

Wednesday, May 21st, 2008

A great way to celebrate the end of finals, and yet another semester, is to stop by Brent Nolasco’s upcoming show at My Plastic Heart. The show will be “featuring an extensive line of customs and paintings showcasing his amazing detailed work.”[MPHBWNN]

Though I have  yet to see the pieces, Brent really is both an amazing guy and artist, and I am anticipating his first solo show. The man really deserves this opportunity and I hope that more people recognize his works and style. I will share more information when the date nears.

P.S. VinylPulse has the first peak of one of the pieces.

The Gnome Eating Bat Munny

Wednesday, May 21st, 2008

I don’t think it’s even necessary to say how AMAZING this munny is, right? I mean, I applaud Amanda’s vision. The ears, the wings, the already-in-the-belly gnome. This is truly a work of art, and will soon [June to be more precise] be auctioned off to some lucky person who has more money than I do. How I wish I could hug him, as he measure 20″, I know he can withstand my lovin’. Amanda, though I doubt you’d know of my site, if you ever stop by: please make a gnome eating munny for me! Pleaseeee!

What I FFFFound!

Wednesday, May 21st, 2008

I believe I’ve expressed my need to join the FFFFOUND! community, and I have yet to score. I will continue to go on the assumption that if I ask the world once every couple of weeks, and invite will come my way. Anyway… I thought I would share some of the photos that other’s shared. I left a slight commentary to why I chose to share the photos posted below. Enjoy, discuss.

p.s. Let me know if the images break please, I’m linking directly from the source, I believe some call it “hotlinking?” I don’t know exactly how that works.

This first photo makes a very important statement about our current global warming situation. I believe the Mr. and I got into a discussion about some solutions, and he mentioned watching a documentary about oil. Apparently, even if we conserving now, there won’t be enough to last future generations much longer. I say, in Mexico, when you get your lisence, your lisence plate is assigned a color. Each color represents a day of the week that the car in question may NOT be on the road. This is part of the solution to the extreme amount of pollution in the city. How ’bout we try something similar? Will it kill people to drive a bike? Hit the title for more… (more…)
