It is necessary to state this before I continue with this post: I am in love with Kathie Olivas. Not just Kathie though, I’m in lust for Tara McPherson too. Both are very strong and amazing artists in general, but in the vinyl world they rule. I had the pleasure of getting Kathie’s sketch in my soul book this weekend, thanks to Dacosta who gave both Kathie and Brandt my book- I’ll post pics of my tags later.

On to Kathie’s Scavengers. These little creatures stand about 4″ tall and are also part of Mindstyle’s upcoming releases. They’re slated for a summer release and will most likely be window boxed… or so I’m told. They’re looking out for our wallets. I’m truly excited for this upcoming release.

Damn, you’re up even later then me posting about NYCC!

(and, cool! Where’d you get this great little ‘bot emoticons from?!)

I’m jealous because I missed this particular signing. The sketch you got is a beauty.

He’s a “tv head” and I found him on this site: http://msn-function.blogspot.com/

They’re all gifs, but I wanted to shrink them so… they’re not anymore… I miss them moving. If I only knew how to shrink gifs.

Oh, and I agree about my sketch. I missed them too, but Dacosta hooked me up when they were hanging behind the booth.
