I know I’m probably a little late on this… but have you guys seen the new Kanye West and Daft Punk collaboration? Santos, the Mr. showed me the video a while ago, and I have been meaning to post it and share with the people who– like myself– were late on the upkeep. I did want to share my thoughts on it too. I have to say I am a huge fan of both Kanye West and Daft Punk. I like a lot of Kanye’s lyrics, and Daft Punk comes out with some sick beats; and though their collaboration brings lots of joy to me, it also sort of makes me sad. I usually reach a point of confusion whenever hip-hop mixes with electronic/punk/techno/rock… pretty much any scene hip-hop normally steers away from.I love the way the collaborations come out, for instance– one of my favorite albums is the Grey Album, the collaboration with Jay-Z’s Black Album mixed with The Beatles White Album ( The Beatles 9th self-titled album). I was highly impressed with the combination of both sounds, but what bugged me? I don’t mind when the ghetto youth of America learns about new music, but I honestly hate it when they start “rockin” these artists as though they have the right to. Does this make any sense? What I am saying is; learn to appreciate the music, rather than listening to it because your current favorite artist just made a song with their music.Eh, whatever, I have pet-peeves that some may not understand. Oh snaps! The excitement that is The Dark Knight. I know its a year away, in case you weren’t aware the movie is set to be released July 18th, 2008; but every time I run into sneak peak shots or previews, I get all giddy. This is the latest shot I’ve run into. Plenty of kudos to my Flickr buddy, for continuously hooking us up with loads of information and shots. What do you think?

Personally I think Jack Nicholson did an awesome job as the JOKER, he has the essence of a mad man; but I must admit that I see this side profile of Hieth Ledger and I think he is capturing some of Nicholson’s madness. Do you agree? I’m not sure who the girl is, she looks a little but like Maggie Gyllenhaal, but the Joker’s knife is blocking her face a little too much to really tell. Just in case you also weren’t aware, Maggie has taken Katie Holmes place as Rachel Dawes. I shall give you more heads up if I run into more sneak peak shots.

These! These are the following bad puppies, or should I say vandals, that are going to join my collection. They are super cool, can’t wait to buy them. Just in case you were wondering these are, “MAD’s Bent World Vandals” sold at Kid Robot. Their official release date is this Friday, but some places are already selling them. They’re super cool,and if you’re into defacing the city streets or an artist, I think you’re going to appreciate these yourself. Oh, plus– check out the video:
