I love Microsoft, I really do. I should be one of the poster children for this company and Bill Gates simply rules. So, if you’re geek you’re probably already aware of Microsoft’s upcoming treat to us. We are reaching the touch sensitive technology, we’re no longer going to have to sit at our computers to upload our pictures, or put music on our MP3’s, even a simple thing like drawing. Why? Take a look at the following videos:

Legos, Legi, no it’s LEGO!

If you’re a “trash TV” watcher like myself, this means you watch channels like VH1 and MTV; then you probably saw the Super Bowl of Pop Culture last summer. I really liked that show, even if it was on trash tv. The best part was having Pat Kiernan (from NY1) talk about the plural form of Lego, its still Lego not Legi or Legos. Anyway, that explains the title.

Now back to the post, I am a fan of LEGO especially lately; I’ve recently discovered the LEGO Shop; and an even bigger fan of USB drives. While on my internet escapade, I ran into these:

Not only are they USB flash drives, but they’re also really small and you can attach them to your keys. I love them. I’d get the red one, or the green. They’re a little costly, $49 to be exact plus shipping… but still awesome! You can check ‘em out here: ZipZip.net

Yipee, Line Rider for me!

A while back one of my buds, the boy commonly known as Yoyo, told me about this game where you have to create a field for a a line rider. Every time I read line rider I think of that show Ghost Writer… I used to love that show! Anyway, this game is currently a free flash game, at least that is how this game started. It was a project for school, sort of like FLOW for the PS3 is someone’s thesis, and it did well. Nintendo has picked it up and its scheduled to be a DS game (according to DS Fanboy). I played this game on the computer and I have to say it was tougher than I thought to play it on a computer, so getting it confirmed for the DS makes me really happy. I think both the stylus and the dual-screen will simply make it a lot easier and funner for people. Here’s a videos, remember you control where the little fella goes:

Super Mario Cake.

It’s a coincidence that its another cake post, but damn it… cakes are so good! I don’t know how yummy Mario is, but he sure does look delicious. I was over at Joystiq.com today and I saw this Mario cake. People are so incredibly talented. I am an addict for those Food Network shows with the cake competitions, I forget the names of the shows. Whenever they’re on though, I can’t help but be stunned.

You can click the image to go to Joystiq’s photo gallery of the cake. I should share that I wouldn’t eat him though, I’d store him forever in glass. Maybe.

I recently got the Helio Ocean, so naturally I’m going to be on a Helio high. I’m not sure if you’ve seen the ads around the city (if you live in the city). The one I am referring to is the “Plan A, Plan B” ad. Plan A being the dial pad mode, and plan B is the keyboard mode. I’ve found Plan C, eat it!

YUMMY!!

I got it over at Gizmodo.com

Argh! My thoughts on Pirates

Rating: ★★★★★★☆☆☆☆

Friday came along and the number one thing to do for the weekend was to go see Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End. I was very excited to see the movie, mainly because part two ended so blah to me. I know the ending was supposed to let you know there would be a third part on its way, but it wasn’t even a cliffhanger, it was just there. So I wanted this movie to end. I shall warn you all now that *SPOILERS* are ahead. Before that though… If you haven’t seen it and you definitely know you’re going to see it, watch the movie past the credits. There is an additional scene. Now…

I ♥ threadless

If you don’t know me, here’s an important piece of information– I love threadless t-shirts. Not all of them, because lets face it; sometimes things simply shouldn’t be printed. Turns out that threadless is having a $10 sale from now until June 4th. That means a whole week of opportunities to buy their t-shirts.

If you’ve never heard about threadless, its a good t-shirt site. I’m talking about it in the perks they give to their submission winners. The thing with the site is that you can create your design, using 4 colors or less, and you submit your idea. If people love it and vote 5’s and “I’d buy it” they print it. If your shirt gets printed they pay you 2000 bucks, and give you a $300 gift certificate plus a $200 threadless club subscription. Basically the new t-shirts that come out for the select tees get sent to you. On the plus side, they keep things busy. They have theme opportunities so if you have an artist mental block, maybe if creating a t-shirt design for the film festival, or video game will help you out.

the Bioshock design, also available for $10 now

Hey Peeps,

So I have finally bought my own domain, yay!! Obviously if you made it to this site, you know the name: iheartcoolstuff.com I wish domains would let you use exclamation points and what not, it’d be even better. Anyways, so this is the first post. Where I’m going with this I have yet to really know for myself. I do know that if you decide you want to read, you can come on over; and I don’t feel guilty about the gazillion blog posts on my myspace. I did want to take this chance to explain my categories here we go:

Movie Reviews/Music Too: I think this is somewhat self explaining. I watch load of movies, I can’t help it. You want to know my thoughts on them, they’ll be here.

On a Personal Note: This is more of the private things in my life. Personal opinions and what-not.

Others Had News Too: If you tell me something and I think its so good it must be shared, bet your ass its going to be in this category.

Shopping Maniac: I like shopping, pictures of my stuff is going to end up here.

Snipets of My Brain: The Mr. has “random thoughts” since I don’t want to steal the name of his category– mine will be named Snipets of my brain. Most likely my twitter will be tied along with this category.

The Internet is Random: I do lots of web-surfing… if I find something I want to share from the net, it’ll be here.

Video Game Thoughts: Lately, I’ve been playing more than working, so why not write about it?

Someday I’ll be Published: This is not a category yet. I hope one day I’ll be published. In the meantime I might share some of my short stories, poetry, etc. I’m not sure yet… I get all nervous when it comes to my work.

If you’ve got any suggestions, please feel free to let me know. And if I add more categories I’ll also let you know.

yay to me, I own this name!!
